Genre: Death Metal with Folk Influences
Formed in 2007 by Messor (guitars), ADE have brought together something new to the Death metal circus, fusing the sounds of their Ancient history, in this instance Roman and Greek music with the deranged modern twist of death metal. After all these were the battle songs for the brutality of those past times, and so seems quite natural, with even the lyrics being sang in both English as well as Latin, bringing the audience into the Coliseum. Influence undoubtedly by the likes of Nile and Behemoth, Blood Red Throne, Decapitated etc, the band bring a sound and style that has epic fury written all over it. The band recorded their debut full length at Early Reflection Studio at the end of 2008 and finally get a worldwide release for it two years on, the band have meanwhile been busy building on this unique blend and going down a storm sharing stages with the likes of Sinister, Dark Lunacy and Gama Bamb as well as appearances at Wacken and Metal Disorder.
In 2009 the band release a self-financed EP and then their full length debut entitled Prooemivm Sangvine through Casket Music.
The band began recording their follow up to 2009's Prooemivm Sangvine in 2011 with special guest drummer George Kollias (Nile) and in January 2013 the band signed a deal with up and coming new underground death metal label Blast Head Records just in time for the spring 2013 release of their sophomore album, Spartacus.
